The grandson of legendary dirt track racer Freddy Fryar, Jared Fryar has continued the family racing tradition throughout the Southeast.
The competitor from Trinity, North Carolina, has made a name for himself racing asphalt late models and in 2020 become the first driver to win championships in the CARS Super Late Model Tour (2018) and CARS Late Model Stock Tour (2020).
The winner of countless races also broadened his horizons by racing with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, making his debut in 2021 at Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway.
He's scored several marquee late model victories, including capturing the 2022 running of the Hampton Heat 200 at Virginia's Langley Speedway.
