The grandson of legendary dirt track racer Freddy Fryar, Jared Fryar has continued the family racing tradition throughout the Southeast.
The 28-year-old competitor has made a name for himself racing asphalt late models and in 2020 become the only driver to win championships in the CARS Super Late Model Tour (2018) and CARS Late Model Stock Tour (2020).
The winner of countless races has also broadened his horizons by racing a modified periodically and made his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour debut in 2021 at Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway.
In 2022 Fryar plans to pursue an ambitious schedule in the No. 84 Brandon Gray Racing Late Model Stock while simultaneously maintaining a commitment to compete with Jimmy Mooring in the Sterling Building Group-sponsored No. 14 for approximately 12 events.
