Coltman Farms Racing, which is owned by Brett Coltman, signed with MPM Marketing during the summer of 2022.
Brett Coltman is an established business owner with a passion for motorsports. Coltman initially became involved in motorsports as a sponsor by helping young, local racers and giving them the tools and technology to compete at a higher level.
It wasn’t long before Coltman decided to form his own race team. In 2022, together with Dwayne Frady’s knowledge and Coltman’s passion, Coltman Farms Racing was born and Kenny Collins, a Georgia racing standout with multiple race wins throughout the Southeast in an array of divisons, was named as the team’s first driver.
The team, which is based in Georgia, immediately began to turn heads. Collins was able to turn the fastest qualifying lap in his group at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway during the Eldora Million. While the team didn’t qualify for the main event, the speed shown by the team had Coltman confident that a trip to Victory Lane was right around the corner.
Collins and the Coltman Farms team finished the 2022 season third in the Southern Nationals standings and in September Collins scored the team’s first victory during the East Alabama State Championship Race.
For the 2023 season, Coltman Farms Racing added full-time teams for a veteran and rising star. The veteran, David McCoy, has showcased his talents across several different dirt disciplines, including Super Late Models, 604 Late Models and Limited Late Models. He has earned more than 450 victories during his lengthy career.
Joining McCoy as a Coltman Farms Racing driver in 2023 is rising star Devon Morgan. After starting his career in karts and scoring multiple wins on asphalt at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, Morgan shifted gears and began racing on dirt and has scored several marquee victories, including a victory during the World Short Track Championships at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in 2022.
McCoy joined Collins as a competitor in the Super Late Model class while Morgan will pilot a Limited Late Model during the 2023 season.
