Coltman Farms Racing, which is owned by Brett Coltman, signed with MPM Marketing during the summer of 2022.
Brett Coltman is an established business owner with a passion for motorsports. Coltman initially became involved in motorsports as a sponsor by helping young, local racers and giving them the tools and technology to compete at a higher level.
It wasn’t long before Coltman decided to form his own race team. In 2022, together with Dwayne Frady’s knowledge and Coltman’s passion, Coltman Farms Racing was born and Kenny Collins, a Georgia racing standout with multiple race wins throughout the Southeast in an array of divisons, was named as the team’s first driver.
The team, which is based in Georgia, immediately began to turn heads. Collins was able to turn the fastest qualifying lap in his group at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway during the Eldora Million. While the team didn’t qualify for the main event, the speed shown by the team had Coltman confident that a trip to Victory Lane was right around the corner.
Collins and the Coltman Farms team finished the 2022 season third in the Southern Nationals standings and in September Collins scored the team’s first victory during the East Alabama State Championship Race.
For the 2023 season, Coltman Farms Racing added full-time teams for a veteran and rising star. The veteran, David McCoy, has showcased his talents across several different dirt disciplines, including Super Late Models, 604 Late Models and Limited Late Models. He has earned more than 450 victories during his lengthy career.
Young and up-and-coming Tucker Anderson competes in Coltman’s Limited Late Model car regionally. The team also sponsors several other drivers including Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series star Ricky Thornton, Jr., as well as Payton Freeman, Benji Hicks, Sam Seawright, and Carson Ferguson.
Coltman Farms Racing's latest team addition is Modified star Ethan Dotson, who will join the team to compete full-time in a Super Late Model after signing a multi-year contract with the organization in September of 2023.
Coltman Farms Racing strives to be a team that fields drivers that are positive role models for fans to not only cheer for, but look up to.
